Jesus' parable of the Good Samaritan is perhaps one of the most widely recognized biblical stories in our world today. Very often it is treated as simply a story to teach us about how we ought to show kindness toward other people. But is that really all it teaches? This morning Pastor Joshua shows us that this passage also bears on the relationship between the law of God and eternal life, and this parable points us to the fact that our hope of eternal life comes not by our own works, but only by faith in Christ.
